This decorative gravels consists of glow in the dark pigments and synthetic resin. It is safe, non-toxic, and non-radioactive. The product is specially formulated from non-shrinking, extremely hard polyester and is ideal for use in hand seeded concrete and mosaic applications.  It also works well as a loose pebble in areas where vandalism/theft isn't an issue. Get creative and come up with your own ornamental uses for this versatile product.When exposed to light sources, the photoluminescent pigment within the aggregate becomes chemically excited and will afterglow (i.e. glow in the dark), initially very strongly, reducing slowly overnight.  This is perfect for public and private use areas where most traffic occurs within the first few hours of nightfall. The glow is best seen in a dark area, where ambient light sources, such as streetlights and bright moonlight are absent.  This product will not cast light on surrounding surfaces but does help increase the safety of dark areas by marking pathways in low light conditions.
